Here’s what you’ll need for a successful application;

- Rubber gloves

- Heatproof bowl

- Saucepan

- Mixing spoon

- Cling film (optional)

- Dark-colored towels

- Newspapers to protect the floor

- Clips to section the hair

Let’s get started

For Hair:

Mix 1 tablespoon of Henna Mask with boiling water in a jar or coffee mug, stir well and leave it to cool down. Your an substitute with strong black tea or coffee and drops of Lemon juice.

When it becomes warm, stir again until a cream like texture is obtained (you can adjust the consistency of the mask by adding water).

Apply using an applicator or a brush, starting from the roots towards the tips.

Use gloves and covers as the henna will stain the hands and clothes.

Cover the hair with a plastic shower cap, leave for twenty minutes then wash off using a mild shampoo.

For severely damaged hair or to use as hair coloring, you can leave the mask for up to two hours or overnight for maximum effect.

If your Hair becomes very dry after a Henna treatment, follow by a Deep conditioner Treatment right away.

For skin:

When used as a body art, prepare the Henna as above, and start creating pretty patterns/designs on the skin. Let it dry up, and remove. Wash off with lukewarm water. Apply our body oils for the ultimate moisturizing effect.
